History:
Founded in 2024, The True Tomato began in the home kitchen of Garima Khandelwal, a mother determined to create ketchup that was both healthy and delicious for her child. Frustrated with store-bought options that either contained preservatives, artificial colors, or synthetic flavors, she decided to make her own. In her kitchen, she slow-reduced 2 kilograms of farm-fresh tomatoes to make 1 kilogram of ketchup, using no added water, thickeners, or preservatives. This labor of love resulted in a rich, velvety, and naturally thick ketchup that her family could enjoy without compromise. What started as a mother’s passion for clean, wholesome food has grown into a brand with a mission: to bring real, preservative-free tomato ketchup back to Indian families, ensuring that every bottle delivers authentic taste and nutrition.
